Here’s a little Hair Artist history to help you feel the vibe—

I grew up on a small farm in Indiana, and I’ll always be a country girl at heart. From a young age, I found joy in playing with my family and friends’ hair, and it didn’t take long for me to realize the beauty industry was where I belonged. I did have some pretty great inspiration from my precious, yet sassy red-headed grandmother as well.

I was fortunate enough to attend a vocational beauty school while still in high school, becoming licensed my senior year. Before I even graduated, I opened my own private suite and began building the first version of my business.

Those early years were filled with trial, error, growth, and a whole lot of continued education. I’ve always been drawn to learning, traveling state to state to study new techniques from some of the industry’s most knowledgeable educators. Over time, a dream began to take shape—moving my business to a big city… but not just any city. I needed mountains nearby.

In 2021, that dream became reality when I landed a chair at Lush and Lather in Old Colorado City. Since packing up my life and chasing my dreams across the country, I’ve continued to intentionally elevate my small business. I’m constantly growing, evolving, and expanding my skill set—so you may notice new services popping up from time to time. You never quite know what I’m creating behind the scenes.

Beyond the technical side of my work, my greatest goal as your hair artist is for you to leave the salon radiating confidence. I wholeheartedly believe there’s an energy exchange when you trust me with your hair, and I never take that lightly. Every guest and every strand receives the care, intention, and attention they deserve.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually chasing my next adventure. I share life with my two fur babies, Mika and Molly—my precious cat children—and we live full-time in our RV tucked away in the Rocky Mountains. Hiking, off-roading, stargazing, and exploring new places fill my soul. It’s the little moments and the meaningful connections along the way that make my world go round.

One thing’s for sure—if you sit in my chair, you can expect epic travel stories, plenty of laughter, and fresh inspiration.
